Changes to Your QuickBooks ProAdvisor Profile

In December, Intuit announced changes to the Find-a-ProAdvisor directory and profiles.  Their goals are to help small business owners find expert QuickBooks help when they need it.

The profiles have been revamped and there are some pretty cool new features, including a progress bar on the strength of your profile.

If you are a ProAdvisor member and haven’t visited your profile in a while, now is a good time to check on it and update it if needed.  Here is an article by Intuit from December on the changes:

Keep in mind that small business owners can find you via your ProAdvisor profile at least two ways:

  1. Through the Find-a-ProAdvisor directory: http://proadvisor.intuit.com/fap
  2. Through a Google or other search. Your ProAdvisor listing may come up when someone enters your city and the words “QuickBooks help.”  The order that these profiles come up are in Google’s control (and yours to some degree) and not Intuit’s.  There are a couple of ways to influence this, and if you’re interested, reach out.

If you aren’t a ProAdvisor member, we do recommend this membership.  It’s just another way you can strengthen your digital footprint and attract more clients.
