Position open: Web/social media admin

Woman-owned marketing business seeks Web/social media admin with WordPress, HTML, or social media experience that is motivated, reliable, responsible, and organized and that wants to excel in their own life and is looking for a long-term commitment.  My business is growing rapidly and this is an excellent opportunity for growth in pay, responsibility, and additional commission-based income above hourly rate (or salary).

My business helps small business owners grow their businesses and achieve their dreams.  I offer products, workshops, consulting, and group programs.  I also develop websites for clients.   Our client base of well over 400 clients includes many accounting professionals who are very left-brained, organized and logical, yet creative enough to run and grow their own businesses and serve clients’ complicated technology challenges.

Knowledge/experience in web or social media maintenance is essential, as is the ability to learn and master new software packages quickly.   Some of the applications we use on a regular basis include WordPress, 1ShoppingCart, FaceBook, Ning, Google Calendar, Twitter, Hootsuite, YouTube, LinkedIn, Constant Contact, Aweber, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.  Customer service experience or skills is a plus.

Your above average technology skills are essential to this position.   So is a desire to continually learn new skills.  This is a positive, energetic, and FUN business.  You will work with other team members in our San Jose office.

Essential Requirements:

Above-average computer skills

2 years web maintenance or social media experience

Understanding of some of the above-listing software packages or a fast ability to learn

Typing and word processing ability

Good communication skills and a cheerful disposition

$12 to $16/hr base to start, with bonuses when overall company revenue goals are reached.  This is a part-time, temporary job with an opportunity to advance rapidly to FT salary with benefits for the right person.  San Jose area just south of downtown in the Willow Glen area.
