Boosting Your GMB Listing

To Platinum and Diamond Web Package Clients:

We’re excited about getting your Google-My-Business listing in tip-top shape and we need a bit of information from you to make it even more awesome. There are four parts to our request:

1. Holidays

Please send us the exact dates your office will be closed during the next few months. We’ll update your listing so Google won’t mark you closed when you are open. If you’re closing early on any “eve,” let us know your hours and we’ll update that as well.

Feel free to send us your full 2021 calendar too if you already have it. And if we don’t have your hours, please send them so we can get that updated.

2. Photos

We automatically add your custom photos from your website. If you have additional photos you’d like us to use on your GMB listing, please reply and attach them.

3. Attributes

We’d like to update the Attributes section of your listing. The choices vary a bit by account, so not all options are available for all accounts. Here are the most common choices:

  • Black Owned
  • Veteran Led
  • Women Led
  • Wheelchair Accessible Elevator
  • Wheelchair Accessible Entrance
  • Wheelchair Accessible Restroom
  • LGBT Friendly
  • Restroom
  • Online Appointments
  • Onsite services
  • Appointment required
  • Mask required
  • Staff get temperature checks
  • Staff required to disinfect surfaces before visits
  • Staff wear masks
  • Temperature check required

These can be displayed in Google search results along with your website URL and description.

Please let us know which ones you want us to checkmark for your listing. We understand that while you may qualify for some of these, you may not want them to be highlighted for your business. If this is the case, don’t include that one in the ones you want us to check. We can’t control which ones get highlighted.

4. Reviews

You know I can’t miss an opportunity to bug you about getting more reviews, right!? The more GMB reviews you can get your clients to leave, the better.

We should have a link on your testimonial page for clients to leave a review on your GMB. If you don’t have that or it doesn’t directly go to your reviews, let us know and we’ll update the page/link.

So we just need 3 things: your holidays, your photos (optional), and your attributes. Just reply back to this email so we can make your GMB listing rock.
