Please take the time to read this post. It is important for your digital reputation.
We’ve hired a security company to provide an extra layer of protection for your website. This feature includes 24/7 monitoring, scanning for malware every 12 hours, and a firewall to help cut down on attacks.
We’ve made some additional changes you should know about.
CPanel
We’ve changed all cPanel passwords. If you need to get into your cPanel, please email us with your request and why you need in there. We will only give out the passwords on a need-to-know basis.
We may also be changing WordPress passwords in the next few weeks. Again, this will be provided on a need-to-know basis. Please do NOT change it on your own.
Blog Comments
Your WordPress website blog has a feature for people to leave comments. This feature will be turned off on all current and future posts. A few of your sites have valid comments; we have not deleted those.
Firewall
About 60% of sites are behind a firewall; thank you for all of your prompt help with this. If you receive additional emails from me about your domain access, please respond immediately.
Malware Removal
While there is no extra charge for this new feature (and it’s a HUGE value) we reserve the right to charge a $150 cleanup fee if your site is compromised in the future. This is unlikely if you are behind the firewall.
Thanks for understanding that this is simply another one of the changes we must embrace in today’s times. You have all been amazing about this, and I appreciate it.
